NOVA University of Lisbon is the 15th best in Europe and is among the 50 best in the world under 50 according to the QS Top 50 under 50 ranking, released on June 21 and evaluating criteria such as reputation and internationalization.
For the sixth consecutive year, NOVA is the only Portuguese university listed in this exclusive ranking of the 50 best universities in the world.
According to Professor João Amaro de Matos, Vice-Rector of NOVA, the results "reveal the quality of our teaching and are the acknowledgment of the bet we have been making in internationalization. In addition, they also contribute to raising the Portuguese university system ".
