The Summer School MathIngenious 2016 takes place from 6th to 8th July 2016 in FCT NOVA’s Department of Mathematics.
The Research Centre for Environment and Sustainability (CENSE), of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, organizes the 22th International Annual Conference Sustainable of the Development Research Society (ISDRS) and the 1st Symposium on the Luso-Brazilian Sustainability Model and Practices.
In the work “A multidisciplinary approach to the study of the brightening effects of white chalk ground layers in 15th and 16th century paintings", was employed various techniques to analyze the mixture of chalk and binder materials used by Portuguese and Flemish painters in the 15th and 16th centuries, to enhance the reflection of light in paintings.
FCT NOVA attended the launching session of the new KC 390 (which will replace the C 130) and which was attended by the Prime Minister of Portugal, at the OGMA facilities.
