At NOVA FCT, mobility students must present a language certificate during the application, B1 in English or A2 in Portuguese. However, in order to be able to communicate properly and attend classes successfully during the study period, we recommend B2 in English.
Regarding admission through the Special Competition for Access and Admission of International Students to the Bachelor's Degree courses at NOVA FCT, candidates must have a required level of knowledge of the language in which the teaching of this cycle of studies is provided, corresponding to level B1 or higher, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
