NOVA FCT projects secure funding through Marie-Curie doctoral networks

Four NOVA FCT projects have secured funding from the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks, out of the 128 proposals recently approved. These projects aim to facilitate the exchange of researchers and students, enhancing scientific collaboration throughout Europe. NOVA FCT will oversee over 700,000 euros for these projects, which will involve partnerships with institutions in other countries.

The approved NOVA FCT projects include: 'PROCRYSTAL - Crystallisation towards efficient and sustainable biomanufacturing', led by Cláudia Galinha , rom the Chemistry Department and LAQV-REQUIMTE; 'PATTERN - European Doctoral Network Enabling Artificial Intelligence for Electromagnetic Compatibility', and 'AERIALIST', both led by Hugo Gamboa from LibPhys and the Department of Physics ; and finally, Rodrigo Martins, coordinator of CENIMAT and professor in the Department of Materials Science , is leading the 'SusMatEner - Sustainable Materials-by-Design for Renewable Energy' project.
