In its most recent participation in a prestigious national festival, TunaMaria once again stood out, winning four awards including Best Ensemble.
NOVA FCT's women's student musical group was competing at the XVIII Ínsula festival, organised by Tuna Com Elas, and their performance won, in addition to the main prize, the awards for Best Tambourine, Best Original and Best Soloist. The festival took place on 1st and 2nd December on the island of São Miguel.
This recognition attests to the dedicated commitment and musical excellence achieved by TunaMaria, thus reaffirming its prominent position on the academic and cultural scene. Achieving these awards not only fills the group with pride, but also resonates positively with the entire NOVA FCT academic community.
