On February 6th, the FCT NOVA community had the opportunity to hear Gloria Vidal Torrado, Entrepreneurship Manager, and António Martins Victor, Repsol Marketing Manager, at the clarification session of the Repsol Foundation Entrepreneurs Fund.
At the Uninova auditorium about 30 teachers, researchers and students listened with great interest the operation of this careers’ accelerator.
With this initiative REPSOL wants to promote the research and creation of innovative solutions in the area of the energy and chemical industry, the generation, distribution and storage of electricity and mobility.
Since 2011, the Repsol Foundation's Entrepreneurs Fund has already helped to create 37 startups, more than 30 patents have been registered and more than 13 million euros in investment and financing.
FCT NOVA is joining another project that promotes entrepreneurship and bets on the quality of research and entrepreneurship in its community.
The event was supported by RIA (Research and Innovation Accelerator), a body of FCT NOVA that supports the innovation cycle of the Faculty's scientific community, from the genesis of an idea to its application in the market, thus contributing to the School creation of value.
