For Final Year Master's Students - Programme to be developed at NOVA FCT

IN THE FINAL STRETCH... AND NOW?

The end of a master's programme is often accompanied by anxieties about the future, life after studies, the labor market, and individual abilities to succeed in adult life. The sessions aim to give students an opportunity to face their final year with less anxiety, not only about the thesis but also to realize their strengths and develop the soft skills they need.

Sessions Schedule (2024/2025)

Session I - Another Challenge... Expectations and Fears: 12/11/2024 (2pm – 3:30pm)

Session II - De-Dramatize the Thesis: 18/02/2025 (2pm - 3:30pm)

Session III - Entry to the Labour Market: 20/05/2025 (2pm - 3:30pm)

For PhD Students - Programme to be developed at NOVA FCT

The PhD is considered the pinnacle of education and academia, but it is at the same time a complex and demanding process in which doctoral students are certified for their ability to carry out research in their area of speciality.

The Programme serves as a time and space where doctoral students come together, not only to share their experiences, progress and challenges in their research, but also to guide them on their journey by providing skills and self-regulation tools that they can apply in their daily lives.
