At Campus da Caparica, more than 800 students from elementary and secondary education were received, from the 3rd to the 10th grade.
Researchers Octavio Mateus and Emanuel Tschopp, from FCT NOVA's Department of Earth Sciences, have discovered a new species of sauropod dinosaur. The scientific paper of which was published on May 2nd in the scientific journal "Peerj". The new dinosaur specie is the Galeamopus pabsti.
The Wiley publisher, together with "ChemPucSoc Europe", asked the Professors of the Chemistry Department of FCT NOVA, Carlos Lodeiro and José Luís Capelo, to organize a special issue on "Translational Chemistry" in the journal "Chemistry Open".
