FCT attended the exhibition area with an allusive stand to training and research in the sea and coastal sciences and engineering, in order to show the work and interest in a very strategic area for Portugal, the Sea.
The DEC Structures Laboratory conducted a test of a flat slab under cyclic actions, in order to simulate the action of an earthquake. It was the first experimental test of this kind held in Portugal and one of the first in Europe.
