"INNOVATION IN ENGINEERING" is a summer program offered by the Company Projecto.Detalhe to help young students develop skills, solve problems and think like engineers.
We are looking for dynamic and motivated students with Master's level training in engineering or physics, to develop PhD projects in the field of Nanotechnology and Nanophysics. The subjects offered cover fundamental and applied areas with special emphasis on dynamic processes and clean energy.

Professor Mário Secca was distinguished with a plaque at the World Congress of Biomedical Engineering, WC 2012, in Beijing, for work performed for the International Federation of Biomedical Engineering (IFMBE) in the last four years. He was also elected from among representatives of 56 countries to join the Administrative Council (AC) of the IFMBE, valid for a period of six years.
The "XIX Yeast biology meeting Professor Nicolau van Uden" takes place on 15 and 16 June at the Library auditorium (FCT/UNL). The meeting is organized by researchers of "Centro de Recursos Microbiológicos" (CREM) and staff of "Departamento de Ciências da Vida".
