E3 Forum reunites students, companies and Academia on June 28th

 

Registrations are open for the second edition of E3 Forum, an international conference organized by PhD candidates of the MIT Portugal Program and that will be held in one week, on the June 28th at Pavilhão do Conhecimento Ciência Viva, in Lisbon. The registration involves very special conditions for students, including accommodation and transportation within Lisbon (with limited availability), for those coming from outside the city. Registration price includes also lunch, dinner, a cocktail session and two coffee breaks.

 

The E3 Forum - Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship - aims to create a discussion environment that promotes innovation and interaction, new ideas, opportunities and conditions to help participating students and young professionals defining their career directions.

 

Speakers

 

In addition to the presence of the Secretary of State for Science Prof.ª Leonor Parreira, outstanding national and international speakers have been confirmed for the E3 Forum 2012, including Murat Isikveren (Head or Energy R&D VEOLIA Environment), António Portela (CEO Bial), Brock Reeve (Harvard Stem Cell Institute Director), António Murta (CEO Pathena), Nathan Kievman (LinkedIn Specialist, Founder of Linked Strategies), Luis Barros (Int'l Innovation & Entrepreneuship Initiative - MIT),  among others. Poster competition

 

Participants are also highly encouraged to present a poster, which might be accompanied by additional material such as prototypes, software programs or any other technologic or innovative products.
