"The mission of a School is to produce and disseminate knowledge. With this expansion of the teaching and research team, we reaffirm our dedication to this mission," declared the Dean of NOVA FCT at the outset of another Contract Signing Ceremony.
The event, held on 9 May, formalized the appointments of a new full professor, a new associate professor, three assistant professors, and a new researcher.
Maria de Fátima Guerreiro da Silva Campos Raposo assumed the role of Full Professor in the Department of Physics. Joining the same department, Nenad Bundaleski is the latest Assistant Professor. Manuel João de Moura Dias Mendes has been appointed as the new Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science. Carla Renata Gonçalves de Freitas (Department of Life Sciences) and Rafael Sousa Costa (Department of Chemistry) have also solidified their ties with NOVA FCT by taking on the roles of Assistant Professors. Clara Sofia Barreiro Gomes joins as the new researcher in the Chemistry Department.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean's office, Department Chairs, colleagues, and friends who celebrated the excellence of their peers.
