On January 11, the first contract signing ceremony for both teaching and non-teaching staff took place. During this session, the school witnessed the reinforcement of its team through the promotion of four professors and the recruitment of a senior technician.
The Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering now boasts two additional full professors: Maria da Graça Madeira Martinho and Tomás Augusto Barros Ramos. In the Department of Computer Science, Bernardo Parente Coutinho Fernandes Toninho and Jorg Matthias Knorr have been promoted to Associate Professors.
The Department of Civil Engineering has also been reinforced with the hiring of Joana Raquel Gonçalves Ribeiro.
At the contract signing ceremony, José Júlio Alferes, the Director of NOVA FCT, welcomed the new non-teaching staff member and congratulated everyone. He emphasized "the importance of formally recognizing the performance of these professors, who had already taken on greater responsibilities. It's also a matter of justice."
