NOVA FCT once again stood out at the largest higher education fair, drawing an impressive crowd of interested students. Over the three days of Futurália, hundreds of visitors made it a point to stop by our booth to learn more about what makes NOVA FCT a benchmark in Science and Technology education.
"I heard that NOVA FCT is the best in the field of Technology," said Nadir, an 18-year-old Iranian student currently studying in Lisbon, explaining why he wants to enroll in the Computer Engineering program at the Caparica Campus. And he was not alone. Among the sea of visitors, more than a thousand curious and prospective students sought us out to clarify doubts and explore the opportunities that NOVA FCT offers.
Beatriz Gouveia, an 11th-grade student from Almada, was fascinated by Mechanical Engineering. "It's amazing what you can do at NOVA FCT, like the Formula Student project," she enthusiastically commented.
João Silva, a 12th-grade student from Faro, already has NOVA FCT among his top choices. "I took advantage of your presence here to learn more about the course, and since I’m interested, I’ve already signed up for the Open Day to get to know the campus better," he explained.
He’s not the only one taking that step. Inês Cabral, also in the 12th grade from Ribatejo, wants to pursue Mathematics and has already confirmed her attendance at the EXPO. "The conversation with the professor and the student from NOVA FCT here at Futurália, along with the experiences I had, only reinforced my decision to pursue Mathematics," she said.
Maria Inês, a 10th-grade student from Setúbal, still has time to decide, but she already sees NOVA FCT as a strong option. "It’s a well-recognized university with a high level of employability. And I’ve also signed up for the EXPO," she shared.
This year, the interest extended beyond undergraduate programs. Many visitors were eager to explore our Master’s and PhD offerings, further reinforcing NOVA FCT’s reputation as a top choice for those looking to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation.
