Since November 9th, the Museum of Almada-Casa da Cidade has been hosting the exhibition "Almada: Places of Project."
The exhibition showcases work developed by students in the Master's program in Sustainable Urbanism and Spatial Planning from 2016 to 2023. It includes proposals, plans, sketches, and audiovisual presentations aimed at (re)thinking the municipality of Almada, focusing on new uses and the enhancement of riverside areas, sustainable mobility, and the requalification of buildings.
The exhibition was inaugurated on November 9th, and was attended by the Mayor of Almada, Inês de Medeiros, the Dean of NOVA FCT, José Júlio Alferes, the Chair of the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, Graça Martinho, and the coordinator of the Master's Degree, José Carlos Ferreira.
"Many of the ideas are absolutely fascinating and some even align with old dreams of the people of Almada," says the mayor.
The exhibition is open until 23 March 2024.
