The GLYCOTwinning team — a consortium led by UCIBIO NOVA FCT, together with its partner CICbioGUNE, a research centre of excellence in the Basque Country — organised a theoretical and practical course on the structural elucidation of protein-glycan complexes.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about the state of the art in this scientific area with practical sessions, tutorials and lectures by experts in advanced structural elucidation techniques in the field of glycosciences.
Simultaneously, the GLYCOTwinning team, together with the Works4U@NOVA and partner Imperial College, organised a workshop on transversal skills. The 20 places available for this course were fully occupied by Master's, PhD and post-doctoral students, senior researchers and teachers from the NOVA FCT community.
The summer school took place between 25 and 28 September at NOVA FCT's Caparica Campus. The workshop was held on 28 and 29 September.
