The NOVO Núcleo Teatro (Theather Student Group) of NOVA FCT was once more distinguished in the Lisbon Annual Academic Theatre Festival (FATAL), the largest festival of academic theatre in the country.
NNT was represented with the play "Putrecere", with staging and artistic direction by Paula Garcia, staging assistance by Beatriz Nunes (student of the Integrated Master in Mechanical Engineering) and light design by João Chicó. Last June 2nd the group received the Honourable Mention of the competition in this festival.
This is the second consecutive year that NNT's work is recognised in FATAL, having last year won the competition with the play "25 Fragments", with dramaturgy, staging and plastic conception by Sandra Hung.
This year the cast included Ana Roda, PhD student in Biotechnology, André Nunes, graduate of the Integrated Masters in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering, Cristiano Barata, student of the Integrated Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Darian Gomes, student of the Degree in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering, Diogo Santos, student of the Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Eduardo Mendes, student of the Degree in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering, Guilherme Antunes, student in Biomedical Engineering, Henrique Rodrigues, student in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering, Inês Baptista, student in the Integrated Masters in Computer Science, Joana Lameira, student in the Masters in Conservation and Restoration, Luís Alexandre, student in the Integrated Masters in Computer Science, and Madalena Gonçalves, student in Biomedical Engineering.
