The University Esports Team of the NOVA FCT Academic Association claimed the title of National University CS:GO Champions at this year's edition of the eFADU Nationals, the National University Esports Championships.
The event, organized by the University Sports Federation (FADU) and the Academic Association of the University of Maia, took place on June 11th and also earned AEFCT Esports a third-place finish in the League of Legends Championship.
In addition to CS:GO and League of Legends, the VALORANT and FIFA championships were also contested.
Established in October 2020, the AEFCT Esports team had already secured first place in the 2021 University Dot Gaming Championship for League of Legends.
