"I've always wanted to go to FCT NOVA and to study Applied Mathematics for Risk Management. I've always liked mathematics and banking, so I think it's a excellent idea to link the two, and at NOVA, from what I've heard, is the best place to enrol on this course", says Andreia Gonçalves, a student from Azambuja completing the 12th grade. She was among the hundreds of high school students who stopped by the FCT NOVA stand at Futurália.
During the four days of the largest fair dedicated to education, training and employability in the country, the School is being represented by a dozen volunteers who, between experiments and demonstrations, promote the educational offer of our School.
Many of those who visited us chose FCT NOVA to pursue their studies, such as Simão Ferias, 17 years old. "It is my first option. For the interesting course (Computer Engineering) and because I have good references from friends who have already studied there", says the student.
Daniela Moreira, in the 12th year, will also choose our organic unity as her first option. It is a unique course, that includes chemical engineering and biology, and there is no other college that offers it", she explains.
Noor Daniel is from Montijo and already knew the FCT NOVA. The student of the 12th year had already come to one of our open days and recognizes that the good environment is one of the reasons that lead her to choose to study in the Caparica Campus. The student intends to follow Biomedical Engineering at FCT NOVA because "I like the environment, the space, for the people and for being a NOVA", she adds.
The 14th edition of Futurália, under the motto "No one is left behind. Education for all", included lectures, workshops and various initiatives dedicated to education and employability. The event is still ongoing until this Saturday, March 25.
