Mafalda Soares and Beatriz Neves, students at NOVA School of Science and Technology, are the most recent medal winners on the return to the National University Championships.
In the competition, which took place in Seixal, Mafalda Soares won the gold medal in the -57kg category in Taekwondo.
Beatriz Neves was one of the athletes who became the National Women's Champion at CNU Tennis in Monsanto, defending the title at NOVA for the fifth consecutive year. The team also included the participation of Ann Sophie Hann, Michelle Bader and Sarah Moehrlein.
