The great performance of the athletes from the NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA was decisive for the winning of the 2nd place by teams in the National University Athletics Championship, which took place on the 6th and 7th of March in Pombal.
From our Faculty, Catarina Lourenço won the gold medal in the 60 meters flat. Nuno Cidade do Carmo collected one silver medal in the 5000 meters march and one bronzemedal in the pole vault. Margarida Silva came with the bronze medal in the 800 meters. Paulo Conceição, who holds the national high jump record, even injured, did not stop participating.
NOVA's team of 11 athletes also won two silver and bronze medals.
