On February 24th, at 11 am, the winners of the L'Oréal Portugal Medals of Honor Program for Women in Science will be announced, in an entirely online event.
The NOVA School of Science and Technology has once more one of its researchers on the winners list, bringing the number of scientists from the School receiving this distinction to five.
Every year "The L'Oréal Portugal Medals of Honor Program for Women in Science" distinguishes young researchers with the aim of "supporting and motivating early-stage scientists to pursue relevant projects in the area of health and the environment". L'Oréal Portugal's initiative is developed in partnership with the National Commission of UNESCO and the Foundation for Science and Technology.
