The “Bladder Cancer Precision Proteomics” research, led by Hugo M. Santos, Head of the Laboratory for Biological Mass Spectrometry – Isabel Moura at the NOVA School of Science and Technology, and member of the (Bio)Chemistry & OMICS Group - LAQV, was recently distinguished by the Portuguese Urology Association (APU).
The team is involved in the project “RETINOL-Binding protein 4 as a candidate biomarker predictor of progression: example of use of the high resolution mass spectrometry in personalised medicine,”, which won the prize for best poster and justly deserved the honorable mention and funding of a research grant at the XVI APU Symposium.
"The Direction of the Portuguese Urology Association has awarded an Honorable Mention for the outstanding quality of the project," is referred on the statement.
