TEDxFCTUNL 2018 – Numbers

On April 13, the 7th edition of TEDxFCTUNL was held under the theme "Numbers". The conference brought together 10 speakers, with diverse backgrounds and interests, with careers in business, science and the arts. Four talks were given by students of the New University of Lisbon, selected among 13 applications. 

Speakers included Pedro Pita Barros, Nova SBE Professor, Luís Caires, Filipe Tiago de Oliveira and José Maria Gomes, FCT NOVA Professors, lyric singer Carla Caramujo, judo athlet Beatriz Oñate, and Brazilian women Fernanda Moura and Taciana Mello founders of the Girls on the Road project. 

At the end of the morning and afternoon sessions, saxophonist Diana Catarino and the dancers of Samba Odair and Carolina, both FCT students, were shown at the end, giving a samba workshop to participants.
