Pedro Vieira, Professor and Researcher at FCT NOVA, coordinated the project and in the development of Artificial Intelligence which involved Rui Almeida and Maria Narciso, both students of the I4H Biomedical Engineering Doctoral Program.

This was not the first time that the same team won a prize. The team was winner with the project New Hubert at the Hack for Good contest (Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation); and won the IoT Challenge (Altice / PT) incorporating Narrow Band technology in the Bee2Waste solution, also a Compta portfolio. Both projects were present during the 3 days of the 2018 Web Summit.

This achievement materializes the quality of research teaching and the incentive to entrepreneurship that marks and distinguishes FCT NOVA.

Congratulations to the whole team!
