The first edition of the Winter school Mathmasters will be held at the Department of Mathematics of FCT NOVA, from 14th to 18th January 2019. The deadline for registration is 10th of January 2019.
The school Mathmasters is intended for undergraduate students, interested in Mathematics, aiming at a deeper level of knowledge in this science and its applications.
Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or master course in Sciences, Engineering or Economy of any Higher Education Institution.
The school has the support of the Center of Mathematics and Applications (CMA NOVA) and the students will have the opportunity to attend six courses in distinct areas of Mathematics, such as: Pure Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics and Big Data, Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science.
