As part of the "KIC Raw Materials" strategy and at the Annual Governance Board meeting of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) in Berlin, Professor Rodrigo Martins, as President of the European Academy of Sciences, talked about the impact of materials on European Science and Technology.
The EIT Raw Materials were designated as EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) by the EIT Board of Directors on 9 December 2014. EIT Raw Materials has the ambitious vision of transforming the challenge of dependence on raw materials, strategic force for Europe. Its mission is to boost the competitiveness, growth and attractiveness of the European raw materials sector through radical innovation and entrepreneurship.
