On March 1th7, the NOVA Athletics team participated in the National University Championship (CNU) of Athletics, indoor track, in Pombal. Once again NOVA was very well represented by its students.
Of note are the two medals of Raquel Lourenço, one of Gold in the 60m Barriers and one of Bronze in the jump in height, Jorge Colaço that also was Gold in the 400m and Gonçalo Casimiro obtained the Silver in the 3,000m atheletics.
The team was formed by 13 students: António Pereira, Bernardo Fernandes, Bernardo Oliveira, Christopher Ehrlich, Diana Pereira, Emil Veloso, Gonçalo Casimiro, Jorge Colaço, Maria Pocinho, Raquel Lourenço, Rui Gominho, Sandra Protásio and Tiago Vieira.
This team is already working for the Road CNU (10Km on April 15) and will be looking at the next CNU of Open Air Track on May 26 in Lisbon.
