It is already on the next July 24 that the winning team of the competition "FCT NOVA Challenge", formed by the students of the Secondary School Daniel Sampaio, Afonso Ramos, Daniela Rodrigues, Lídia Barata, Sara Cosme, Tiago Ramalho and by the " Life on the Edge ", project coordinator Teacher, Telma Rodrigues, go on a trip to the US that that will take them to the Smithsonian Museum and to the NASA Center in Washington.
Last July 14, the winning team of the competition "FCT NOVA Challenge", presented greetings at the Official Residence of the US Ambassador. Besides having the opportunity to see the inside of the Official Residence and its magnificent gardens, they exchanged views with the US Ambassador, Robert Sherman, about the experience of participating in this competition, about the difficulties they experienced during the development of their project and about what they want to do in the future. The Ambassador took the opportunity to talk about the trip to the USA and their visit to NASA and handed them the deserved prize of five thousand Euros.
The second edition of FCT NOVA Challenge contest will be at secondary schools at the beginning of next school year.
