Ciência Viva at the Departments of Science and Technology of Biomass and Life Sciences at FCT NOVA

The activities carried out by students in the Department of Science and Technology of Biomass (DCTB), consisted of the toxicity study of existing drinks on the market (mineral water, cola, natural juice, ice tea and an energy drink). From the results, the students also had the opportunity to produce a poster (display at DCTB).

In the Department of Life Sciences, the students had the opportunity to participate in various trainees namely Microbiology, Molecular Genetics and Human Biotechnology Nanobiotechnology and Cell Biology and Immunology.
