10th EXPO FCT Edition

Last 6th of April, the 10th edition of EXPO FCT was held at Campus de Caparica, involving, once again, all Faculty sectors in the various scientific and technological aspects. This year the Secretary of State for Education, Professor João Costa, attended and visited the School Departments.

In its 10th edition, more than 150 experiments and scientific demonstrations of technological and pedagogical nature were presented in laboratories, appropriated for high school students, and guided tours of FCT’s 14 Departments took also place.

Also noteworthy was the exhibition by companies of some of its latest new technology products and the presentation of academic life at its most playful side with extreme sports activities and the musical activities of Tunas and dance and theater groups, allowing a view of the wide academic life that is developed at FCT NOVA.

EXPO FCT is an event that since 2007 gathers more than 50,000 students and 5,000 secondary school teachers coming from 645 schools nationwide.
