Member of Bioscope Research Group internationally awarded

The scientific committee of the "IV International Conference on Analytical Proteomics", which took place between 7 and 9 September, consisting of Kay Ohlendieck, Maynooth University (Ireland); Wolfgang Maret, King's College (London - UK); Simona Francese, Sheffield Hallam University (UK); Marcus Aurelius Zezzi Arruda, University of Campinas (Brazil), Jens Coorssen, University of Western Sydney (Australia), awarded FCT NOVA and Bioscope group member, Dr. Hugo Santos, with THE YOUNG RESEARCH AWARD 2015 in a competition with other young researchers from other countries.

This award underlines the recognition at international competition level of the research excellence developed at FCT NOVA. 

The Bioscope Group conducts research in the field of nanotechnology and clinical and medical proteomics, and in conjunction with the Scientific ProteoMass Association promotes scientific events in the field of science and higher education. The series of congresses ICAP, Caparica International Conference on Analytical Proteomics was born in Caparica in 2009, was later celebrated in Spain (2011), Brazil (2013) and now again in Caparica. In 2017 the event will take place in Porto.
