Application open for three (3) Research Grant (BI) at the Centre of Technology and System from UNINOVA

Three (3) Research Grants (BI), in the area of analog micro and nano CMOS integrated circuit design, are available at the Centre of Technology and System from UNINOVA. These research grants, which are integrated in the project DISRUPTIVE EXCL/EEI-ELC/0261/2012, are supported by national funding from FCT/MEC (PIDDAC).

Scientific area: Electrical and Computer Engineering ( Micro and Nano Electronics)

Candidate requirements: the candidate should have a MSC or higher degree, demonstrate to have experience in the design of analog (RF or baseband) integrated circuit design and/or microsystems in CMOS technology. Experience in project and/or testing of RF circuit at 24GHz. will be valued.

Local: The work will be developed at the Micro and Nano electronics design Lab of the Centre of Technology and System from UNINOVA.

Supervision: The work will be supervised  by Prof João Goes, who is the main coordinator of the DISRUPTIVE project.

Duration: Each Research Grant will have a duration of 12 months (1 year), with possible time extension up to the total project duration. The scheduled starting date is October 2014.

Research Grant: the monthly grant amount is 980 euros, as defined by the official entity  FCT available at
