Dual Degree PhD Program in Computer Science
The Departamento de Informática (DI Department of Computer Science / Informatics Engineering) of FCT UNL participates, in cooperation with the Department of Computer Science Carnegie Mellon University a Dual Degree PhD program in Computer Science, in cooperation with several Portuguese universities.
The School of Computer Science (SCS) at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA is a leading private school for computer science. The PhD Program in Computer Science consistently cemented its place among the top five computer science programs in the United States over the decades.
The Department of Computer Science / Informatics Engineering at FCT / UNL is looking for outstanding candidates interested in following a world-level top ranked PhD Program in Computer Science.
The PhD work will be developed the context of research collaborations between CMU and FCT UNL faculty.
Students enrolled in the program will split their time between research stays at the USA (Pittsburgh) and Europe (Lisbon).
