From March 5 to 28, NOVA FCT is launching the first edition of Career Discovery Month, reinforcing its commitment to employability, career development, and the connection between academia and the business sector.
For a full month, students will have access to inspiring talks, networking opportunities with leading companies, and informative sessions on academic and career paths, helping them bridge the gap to the job market.
The program includes key events such as the Jornadas Tecnológicas, organized by the NOVA FCT Students’ Association, and In.novation Week, led by the junior enterprise In.Nova, providing a unique space to explore new career opportunities aligned with today’s market needs.
Additionally, every Friday, information sessions on NOVA FCT Master’s programs will take place. These sessions aim to highlight the importance of academic specialization, offering students the chance to clarify doubts, demystify concepts, and gain deeper insights into different master’s programs. Led by course coordinators, they serve as a valuable resource to help students align their academic and career choices with their interests.
This initiative is supported by Siemens, NTT Data, Aldi, EY, Synopsys, NOS, D-Orbit, Deloitte, Sovena, Iberis Capital, as well as the NOVA FCT Students’ Association, Jornadas Tecnológicas, In.Nova, ENEQUI, Happiness Business School, FCCN, International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, and NOVA Formula Student.
