Catarina Bianchi, a researcher at CENIMAT, NOVA FCT, is one of the 16 contestants in the renowned TV programme MasterChef Portugal, broadcast on RTP1.
With a longstanding passion for cooking, Catarina had already been sharing her culinary creations on a dedicated Instagram account, where she now also chronicles her journey on the show.
“I have always been driven by curiosity and a passion for experimentation. As a scientific researcher, rigour and creativity have always been part of my daily life — and now I bring those same ingredients to MasterChef Portugal,” she shared on Instagram.
