The Luso-American Development Foundation has announced the winners of the R&D@USA Scholarships. Beatriz de Pina Mariz, a PhD student at NOVA FCT, was one of the recipients and will now have the opportunity to conduct research in Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University.
In addition to supporting research, the FLAD R&D@USA Scholarships promote closer ties between Portuguese and American institutions, strengthening the network of knowledge between the two countries and facilitating the development of institutional partnerships.
