The best paper at ICEC2024 - 2nd RILEM International Conference on Earthen Construction was awarded to Jordan Tandonbou, a NOVA FCT student.
‘Optimisation of the Performance of Earth Mortars at Elevated Temperatures’ is the titleof the paper. The student investigated the behaviour of three earth mortars exposed to elevated temperatures, taking into account the nature of the aggregates used. The results obtained can be used to optimise the performance of earth mortars at elevated temperatures.
Jordan Tandonbou, a student at CERIS, was supervised by Paulina Faria, a professor at NOVA FCT, in a EUTOPIA co-tutelle with Cergy Paris University.
