NOVA FCT, through the Library, has been associated with the International Open Access Week celebrations since 2011. In 2023, this global event will be celebrated between 23 and 29 October, under the theme "Community over Commercialisation".
Throughout the month of October, and continuing a wide-ranging programme, the NOVA FCT Library is promoting various training and dissemination sessions on Open Science, with a particular focus on issues related to scientific publishing.
Emphasizing the notion of scientific social responsibility, Open Access endeavors to enhance the accessibility of scientific knowledge, benefiting society at large.
