Tuna Maria, the female music group of university students of the NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA, celebrated its 29th anniversary on April 29th and won the award for BEST Ensemble just a few days earlier at the Capas Ricasfestival, which took place between April 19th and 20th.
At the same festival, organised by inSpiritusTuna, the female group of the Egas Moniz Cooperative, TunaMaria also won the awards Ensamble+ Audience; Best Original; Best Soloist and Best Instrumental.
Completing 29 years on April 29th, Tuna Maria left this message on social media: "It is thanks to all the members who are part of our history that we continue to walk towards our ideals and goals. What we pursue to achieve with this group goes far beyond music, work and performances. By sowing friendships, we reap the best we have to teach and share with each other".
