"The Tec2Med Summit was founded in 2019 by four FCT NOVA students determined to invest in their country and passionate about the possibility of inspiring the whole society to together build a new future for Health. Since then, the congress has been organised annually by dozens of NOVA students and alumni from various courses, supported by students from other universities, who have embraced this same mission. We work to promote new opportunities that invest in future generations of professionals, engineers, entrepreneurs and scientists who study/work in Health. Motivated by the spirit of NOVA, we believe that unity makes us stronger and that only by the multidisciplinary sharing of knowledge, empathy and a strong sense of duty, we can build better Health services. Thanks to the passion of dozens of students, researchers and companies over the years, Tec2Med has become an academic reference in this area in the country," explains the organisation.

This edition has the support of Johnson&Johnson, Next Big Idea, CUF, Accenture, Magma, Lilly, Lab2Market, CardioID Technologies, 3D Ways, DataHow, INESCTEC, the American Corners Portugal, the Library of FCT NOVA, Proteomass and several other renowned national and international institutions.
