The Dean of NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA, José Júlio Alferes, is the guest speaker of the third webinar in the scope of the The Acting Differently at NOVA (DNA) Award . The event will take place on 18 April at 11.30 a.m.
"Artificial Intelligence and the Impact on Services" is the theme of the presentation that will explain, briefly , what Artificial Intelligence is and how it can be used to improve the way we work, its risks and how we can prevent its inappropriate use.
"After decades of existence as an area of scientific research, recently Artificial Intelligence (AI) has asserted itself as a technology with the potential to profoundly transform the way we work. In a University, the technology introduced by AI has already been changing the process scientific research is conducted and has a huge potential to change the way we teach, organise ourselves, how we handle administrative processes and how we interact with society," explains the Dean.
The Acting Differently at NOVA Award, created this January 2023, aims to stimulate innovation at NOVA University of Lisbon and to recognise good practices already implemented.
