Patrícia Santos, PhD student in Biomedical Engineering, won the "Best Paper Award" at the Seventh International Conference on Informatics and Assistive Technologies for Health-Care, Medical Support and Wellbeing (HealthInfo2022).
The student won this category with the paper "Analisys of upper limb contraction pattern using electromyographic signal during activities of daily living: a pillot study", supervised by Cláudia Quaresma and Carla Quintão, professors and researchers of the Department of Physics at NOVA School of Science and Technology.
The conference promoted by IARIA, "International Academy, Research, and Industry Association", brought together academia and industry in a meeting that addressed technology in health.
