On March 8, at 11 a.m., Ciência Viva promotes the launch of the 4th edition of the book "Women in Science".
This initiative aims to pay tribute to Portuguese women scientists which represent more than 50% of the total of researchers in our country and whose role has been fundamental for the progress that national science and technology have registered in the last decades. The researchers of NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA have been represented in all editions.
This edition brings together 101 portraits of female researchers from diverse areas of knowledge captured by the lenses of photographers Alípio Padilha, Ana Brígida, Diana Tinoco and Rodrigo Cabrita.
The meeting will take place at the Pavilion of Knowledge (you can register here) and will be broadcast live on the Pavilhão do Conhecimento YouTube page.
