"Adapt our coast for a sustainable future" is the theme of the LITTORAL22 International Conference, which will take place in Costa da Caparica between 12 and 16 September 2022.
At the meeting, 150 experts from 27 countries are to attend and debate the main problems, solutions and challenges faced by coastal communities. 110 papers will be presented and discussed covering the themes of "risks and climate change, spatial planning and management, blue economy, ecosystem services and biodiversity, ecology, modelling, mapping and monitoring, and ocean literacy".
LITTORAL22 Conference is a joint organization of NOVA School of Science and Technology, MARE - Center for Marine and Environmental Sciences, the City Council of Almada and Coastal Union (EUCC).
