Professor at FCT NOVA elected President of the Directive Commission of the Portuguese Association for Automatic Control

Luís Brito Palma, professor and researcher from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC) of NOVA School of Science and Technology, was has been elected President of the Directive Commission of the Portuguese Association for Automatic Control (APCA), for the 2023-2024 biennium.

The election took place at the General Assembly of APCA, on the 7th July 2022, during the biennial conference CONTROLO'2022, which was held at the Caparica Campus.

The social bodies now elected count with one more participation from FCT NOVA: Paulo Gil, professor and researcher from DEEC.

APCA is a private, non-profit, scientific and technical association founded on 5th December 1994,  with the purpose of promoting and stimulating teaching, scientific research and technological development in the areas of automatic control and instrumentation in Portugal.

APCA is a National Member Organization of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC).
