During the month of May, UNINOVA and the Portuguese Cardiology Foundation organize the “HEALTH DAYS - May, Month of the Heart”, in Madeira.
From the 2nd to the 31st of May, Funchal will host lectures, activities and cardiovascular screenings at the Madeira Digital Health and Wellbeing stand, in Praça do Povo.
This is one of the initiatives of the European Smart4Health project, which aims to aggregate, on a single platform, all health data and medical records, making them available simply and quickly to European citizens.
“Right now, Madeira is a reference in Europe as a pioneer region in the digital transition in health”, confirms Ricardo Jardim Gonçalves, director of UNINOVA and coordinator of the project.
