Gold and bronze represent the colors of the medals won by Pedro Casinha, Bernardo Raposo and Rodrigo Galhano who were on April 24th participating in the National University Canoeing Championship on behalf of NOVA.
The entourage was present in six of the seven possible finals, and managed to collect two gold medals from Pedro Casinha in the K1 200 m and K1 500 m. The duo composed by Bernardo Raposo and Rodrigo Galhano achieved bronze in the distance of K2 500 m.
