João Crespo, professor and researcher at the Department of Chemistry at the NOVA School of Science and Technology, was recently appointed as an Honorary Member of the European Membrane Society.
The Council of the European Membrane Society may decide to present the title of Honorary Member of the Society, to a particular personality in recognition of an outstanding contribution to education, science or technology in the field of Membranes and Membranes Processes.
The European Membrane Society is an organization that promotes the cooperation between European Scientists and Engineers involved in the field of synthetic and artificial membranes and membrane processes.
To celebrate his appointment, a special honour session was dedicated to him during the European Membrane Conference, Euromembrane 2021, held in Copenhagen from the 28th of November to the 2nd of December, 2021.
