Final session of the EMPORIA4KT project with solutions for the Blue Economy

On January 25th, the final event of the EMPORIA4KT project will take place, with the presence of Andreea Strachinescu, Director General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the European Commission.

The session, which will take place via zoom, is open to the entire NOVA community and aims to present the key results of the project, including an analysis and recommendations of national and European policies for the transfer of technology and innovation in the Blue Economy sectors, as well as the presentation of a training tool for knowledge transfer intended for academic researchers and its implementation outcomes.

EMPORIA4KT is a project of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the Interreg Atlantic Area of ​​the European Union, coordinated by the NOVA School of Science and Technology, through the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and the Department of Science and Environmental Engineering, it is composed of 15 partners from five European countries in the Atlantic Area. The project's objective was to work to establish links between academia, companies and the government, with the purpose of promoting innovation and competitiveness in the Blue Economy in the Atlantic Area.
